What I’ve seen
The Netflix documentary Miss Sharon Jones!, following the great Sharon Jones through her battle with pancreatic cancer.
We sadly lost Sharon last year. Her music and performances remain as distinctive and uplifting as ever
With heart-warming footage, it was incredible to see her courage off the stage. There’s a great clip of her first return to stage following treatment about 2/3rds in, transforming from a nervous wreck to the performer Sharon Jones in seconds!
What I’ve read
The rules for being human By Chérie carter-Scott
Something that resonates in different ways at different periods - personally I'm focusing right now on rule six – “There” is no better than “here”. When your “there” has become “here” you will simply obtain another “there” that will look better to you than your present “here”.
What I’ve heard
IN-Q A distinctive and spoken word poet and songwriter, here’s his most popular post The only reason we’re alive (it’s really good, I promise!)
